This Cookie Policy explains how Madhukosha Apiary Services Private Limited (“Madhukosha”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at https://madhukosha.org and in the Madhukosha Android application (together, the “Platform”). It forms part of, and must be read with, the Privacy Policy, the Consent Policy and the Terms of Use. Words defined in those documents have the same meaning here.
What Cookies Are
- A cookie is a small text file placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, software development kits and local storage. Together they allow a website to function, to remember your choices, and to measure how it is used.
- A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains until it expires or you delete it. A first-party cookie is set by us. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose service we use.

We do not use functionality or personalisation cookies, because the Platform has no account, no login and no saved preferences beyond your cookie choice.
Third-Party Cookies and Embedded Content
- Where you follow a link from the Platform to Substack, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google, WhatsApp or Razorpay, that third party may set its own cookies on your device. We do not control those cookies and this Policy does not govern them. You should read the cookie or privacy policy of the third party concerned.
- Razorpay may set cookies on its own payment page when you follow a Razorpay Payment Link. That page is operated by Razorpay, not by us.
Your Choices
- The banner. On your first visit we show a cookie banner before any analytics or advertising cookie is set. “Accept analytics” and “Reject” are presented with equal prominence. Nothing is pre-selected. Rejecting has no effect on your ability to use the Lookup Tool, submit an enquiry, receive a quotation or buy a PolliHab.
- Changing your mind. You may change your choice at any time by selecting “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer of the Platform. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future collection.
- Browser and device controls. You may also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and reset your advertising identifier in your device settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Platform may not work.
- Do Not Track. Browsers vary in how they send “Do Not Track” signals and there is no accepted standard for responding to them. We do not currently respond to such signals, and we rely on the banner instead.
Cookies and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Where a cookie enables us to identify you, or is combined with other data so that you become identifiable, the information it carries is personal data. Analytics and advertising cookies are therefore set on the basis of your consent under section 6 of that Act, obtained by a clear affirmative action and withdrawable as easily as it was given.
- Strictly necessary cookies are used only for the specified purpose for which you came to the Platform, and are processed on the legitimate use in section 7(a) of that Act, limited to what that purpose requires.
- The consent record for cookie choices is kept as described in the Consent Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We will update this Policy before deploying any new cookie category, any new analytics or advertising provider, or any new tracking technology. The current version will always be available on the Platform with a version number and an effective date.
